EPESEM is a long-established company specialising in the maintenance and servicing of railway signalling systems. Our values are focused on expertise and quality.
Values and vision.
Founded in 1952 by Guillaume Stoebner, our company initially specialised in mechanical railway signalling.
The engineering design office was established in 1972 to carry out detailed railway signalling design studies.
At that time, the company had a workforce of 20 employees.
In 1982, a branch was established in Metz (Moselle), consisting of five employees. Specialising in the manufacture of synoptic panels and control desks, it enabled our company to support major French groups in their export activities.
Since 1996, we have been ISO 9001 certified. A certification we have maintained ever since, ensuring the quality of our services and the expertise of our teams.
In 2002, the company moved into new 1,000 m² premises in Diemeringen, and in 2004 expanded with the construction of a storage facility.
In 2010, a new building dedicated to sheet metal manufacturing was constructed to consolidate all our activities in Diemeringen.
In 2013, we were awarded the Trophy for Best Developed Innovation at the Supplier Innovation Challenge organised by Réseau Ferré de France for our Solar Level Crossing solution.
In 2013 and 2014, we had the opportunity to train four people in performing technical inspections and basic testing.
In 2014, our engineering design office staff received training on the preparation of technical drawings for level crossings.
In 2016, two employees completed the technical plans training provided by SNCF. At the end of this training, we obtained the qualification of one design engineer and one verification officer.
